When You Visit
We truly understand the reluctance associated with visiting unfamiliar places, especially new religious environments. You can be assured that, while we will welcome you, we will not single you out in any way.
You can rest assured that you will not be subjected to any coercion or pressure to do anything. Participation in our services is not spontaneous and chaotic; rather, everything we do is done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40).
You will observe worship services that may seem simple when compared to the elaborate activities generally observed in the religious world. Yet, you will find our worship is not offered presumptuously; that is, we engage in acts of worship of which we can be confident God approves and with which He is pleased. In other words, we worship God "by faith" (Hebrews 11:6).
Don't be surprised if you hear preaching that condemns sinful practices. We are not interested in giving people a false sense of security (Ezekiel 3:18-19; Jeremiah 14:14). We preach and teach the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) without reservation because we know that the Truth will make men free (John 8:32).
We love the souls of men and women enough to tell the Truth.
